Riding bikes

Today we brought the kids to their school car-rider line to learn to ride their bikes without training wheels. I don't wanna hear it people!~ I KNOW they should have already learned by now to ride their bikes. Buuut, because we waited so long we saved ourselves a headache or two because they both picked it right up and rode off into the sunset!! Especially Adam! I held onto his seat for about 5 seconds and away he went. He didn't need any more help, except after he got off the bike or fell off the bike, he needed assistance to start off again. And then after he had been riding awhile, he didn't even need help with that! Megan needed a little more help but soon she was riding off without me, too! So, without further adieu.... Ta Daaaaa!!!

Here is Adam, riding off by himself after VERY little help.

Daddy helping Megan for the first try.

Adam was very proud of himself.

Off she goes!!!

I can TOTALLY do this Daddy!

Needing a little more help. (Ya think Adam knew I was taking a picture? Umm, yeah!)

Ok, so the story behind this one... Her shoe strings were a bit too long and got tangled in her pedal. They pulled so tight she started yelling at her Daddy "Aaaaahhhh oowwwwww Daddy oowwwww!!" He helped her to stop and I untangled the shoestrings and found that they had totally ripped apart. One of her shoe's strings are much shorter now. :)

In the end, Adam even helped Megan when she needed it.

They had a great time. I am so impressed at how quickly they BOTH rode off. It didn't take any time at all! Now Troy is off to the store to see if there are any bicycles for him. Lord, help me!! :)

If they picked it up so instantly, everyone else might be doing it wrong while you're doing it right! We're all trying to push them before they're ready....lol
